Global Health Diplomacy Summit
We’re more than pleased to announce that the Global Health Diplomacy Summit would be held by Federation of Medical Students in Taiwan (FMSTW), Taiwan Dental Student Association (TDSA), Federation of Public Health Student Association (FPHSATW), Pharmaceutical Student Association (PSA), and Taiwan Veterinary Medicine Students’ Association (TVMSA) at the World Health Assembly in Geneva, Switzerland on May 30th(Thursday), 2024.
We’re more than pleased to announce that the Global Health Diplomacy Summit would be held by Federation of Medical Students in Taiwan (FMSTW), Taiwan Dental Student Association (TDSA), Federation of Public Health Student Association (FPHSATW), Pharmaceutical Student Association (PSA), and Taiwan Veterinary Medicine Students’ Association (TVMSA) at the World Health Assembly in Geneva, Switzerland on May 30th(Thursday), 2024.
A series of keynote speeches and roundtable discussions on the aforementioned topics would be presented in the summit. We aim to deepen the understanding of the actual impact of war conflicts and youth participation on healthcare and to find effective strategies for problem-solving or empowerment. Additionally, successful cases or practices all around the globe would be shared to inspire more individuals to engage in international health affairs.
Addressing Public Health Needs Amidst Armed Conflict: A Humanitarian Perspective
The destruction of infrastructure due to war conflicts often leads to severe shortages of local medical services, posing daunting humanitarian medical challenges for affected areas and international relief efforts. Given the escalation of regional political turmoil in recent years, effective responses and strategies to armed conflicts at the international level are increasingly crucial.
Youth Empowerment in Global Health: Strategies, Initiatives, and Impact
International health affairs require the cultivation of youth participation and empowerment. Youth will eventually become the backbone of future societies, nations, and the international community, bearing the responsibility for the future. Their participation adds diverse perspectives, essential for advancing thoughts and refreshing ideas.
